Young Thug‘s imprint, Sp5der, is continuing its partnership with the Three Stripes by introducing a “Black” colorway of the adidas Superstar. Arriving on the heels of the brand’s January 2026 debut, this latest iteration shifts the aesthetic toward a sleek, uniform finish, reimagining the silhouette’s decades of cultural versatility through a darker lens.
The sneaker is defined by its material execution, utilizing high-gloss black patent leather to coat the upper. While the color palette is monochromatic, texture plays a central role; a cracked, web-like embossing ripples across the surface, adding depth to the otherwise mirror-like shell toe. Tonal black serrated stripes are positioned slightly forward on the side panel, maintaining the subtly altered profile established in previous drops.
Detailing remains understated but deliberate, rewarding close inspection. The number “555” appears embroidered on the padded tongue and is mirrored on the insole.
