Presented on February 11 at New York Fashion Week, the showcase departed from traditional polish to embrace an “emo” aesthetic, described by attendees as a mix of “The Black Parade” and prep school rebellion.
The collection’s narrative arc moved from film noir grayscale to “Technicolor” optimism, grounding its designs in a fusion of decades. Key looks featured inside-out blazers, intentionally off-kilter neckties, and heavy grunge plaids paired with frayed Bermuda shorts. Vevers emphasized a “back to school” vibe, accessorizing looks with high-top skater sneakers and satin high-neck dresses adorned with celestial brooches.
While the full collection rolls out later this year, Coach capitalized on the runway buzz with an immediate “See Now, Buy Now” release.
