Y’s for Men has reunited with the Tokyo-based streetwear label MASSES for their second collaborative collection – a partnership that continues to explore the intersection of Yohji Yamamoto’s avant-garde tailoring and MASSES’ rugged, vintage-inspired aesthetic.
Following the success of their first collaboration last year, this new release deepens the creative synergy between the two brands, focusing on a “reconstructive” approach to menswear. The collection remains anchored in a palette of deep blacks and charcoal tones, emphasizing the atmospheric, “chaos-oriented” design philosophy that MASSES is known for, while maintaining the functional elegance synonymous with Y’s for Men.
The second capsule introduces an expanded range of 10 styles, with a particular focus on unique textiles and graphic storytelling. Key items include an array of denim pants, tailored jackets, button-down shirt and knits featuring MASSES’ signature Skull and Bird motifs, which are incorporated into the garments through advanced printing and jacquard techniques.
Other noteworthy pieces include wide-leg cargo trousers and oversized hoodies that blend industrial workwear aesthetics with the relaxed, fluid silhouettes characteristic of Yamamoto’s design language. The collaboration is tied together by custom “double-name” woven labels, marking it as a distinct chapter in the modern evolution of both labels.
Set to launch officially on February 7, 2026, the collection will be available across Y’s directly operated stores in Japan and the official global online boutique, as well as MASSES’ online store.
