Hublot and legendary Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto have reunited for their fourth collaboration, unveiling the Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo. The watch serves as a study in “all black” philosophy, stripping luxury down to its essence through a monochrome camouflage pattern that plays with light, texture, and volume rather than color.
The timepiece is housed in a 42mm microblasted matte black ceramic case with a thickness of 10.4mm, designed to absorb light and emphasize the watch’s sculptural form. Its dial features a black-on-black camouflage relief that shifts subtly under changing light conditions, creating a dynamic sense of motion while remaining faithful to Yamamoto’s minimalist aesthetic. The monochrome mystery is extended to the reverse side, where a smoked sapphire caseback reveals the MHUB1110 automatic movement and its skeletonized rotor. A specialized strap crafted from fabric and rubber fuses Yamamoto’s tactile couture influences with Hublot’s technical precision.
Speaking on the collaboration, Yohji Yamamoto wrote, “Black is modest and confident at the same time. With Hublot, we share a vision to transform time and fabric into expression. Our limited edition, through the use of camouflage, celebrates versatility; it adapts, evolves and defines its own narrative.”
Powering the watch is the self-winding HUB1110 caliber, which operates at a frequency of 4 Hz and offers a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. Each of the 300 units is presented in a custom All Black box featuring Yohji Yamamoto’s signature.
