Wildside Yohji Yamamoto and MASU are set to release their second collaborative collection, a bold line of men’s clothing and a bag that seamlessly merges the signature designs and materials of both brands. The collection features three key items: the Bone and Apple Zip-Up Hoodie, a Varsity Jacket with a striking “Woman’s Face” graphic and a Hand-painted Peony Printed Cake Bag.
The Bone and Apple Zip-Up Hoodie directly references the knitwear from the Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme‘s FW11 collection, with a recreated archive design using a melton appliqué of bones and an apple. A unique co-branded detail is the overlay of MASU’s iconic angel logo on the apple appliqué. The Varsity Jacket also draws inspiration from the FW11 collection and is designed to be eye-catching, featuring a full-front graphic of a woman. Additionally, MASU’s signature cake bag is transformed into the Hand-painted Peony Printed Cake Bag by integrating Yohji Yamamoto’s iconic peony graphic. The bag is finished with black-nickel fittings for a sleek, contemporary aesthetic.
Priced between ¥67,100 JPY and ¥198,000 JPY (approx. $430 USD to $1260 USD), the Wild Side Yohji Yamamoto x MASU collection will be available for purchase starting November 26 at Wild Side Yohji Yamamoto Harajuku, Osaka, Yohji Yamamoto Hankyu Men’s Tokyo and the official online store.
