Graphpaper Is Bringing Sartorial Sensibilities to SS26
The Japanese label offers an easy, modern reinterpretation of tailored silhouettes in Spring/Summer materials.
Summary
- Graphpaper’s SS26 collection features sartorial styling adapted for hot weather with lightweight, textured fabrics in earthy, subdued tones.
- Key pieces like easy suiting, baggy bottoms, and relaxed outerwear offer a comfortable, modern feel.
Japanese label Graphpaper has released its SS26 lookbook, showing how sartorial styling can be adapted for the hot months. Compared to SS25, this year’s Graphpaper Summer line leans further into more distinguished design details, while maintaining a close attention to Summer-friendly fit and fabric.
Lightweight suiting, matching casual sets, and shirting are cast in a subdued color palette of dry, earthy hues, with an ever-so-light mint accent threaded through the range. While suits, ties, and shirting make a heavy appearance, overall, the collection reads as easy and ethereal — buoyed by discreet tonal styling and textured fabrics.
Trench coats and coach jackets have collapsed shoulders, opting for a gentler silhouette, while suiting is reinterpreted in textured fabrics resembling linen and chambray. For bottoms, baggy longline shorts and roomy trousers are key to staying cool and breezy in the Summer.
Outfits including a matching chambray jacket and trousers look, and a white mockneck knitted tee worn with khaki linen trousers, are easily imaginable in a vacation setting or a brunch date al fresco. Details like elasticated waistbands and mandarin collars imbue the collection as a whole with an easy modern edge.
