Twelve South Debuts 'Valet,' a Nappa Leather-Wrapped Charger Blending Design and Tech
Unveiled at CES 2026, the new accessory integrates super-fast Qi2 wireless charging into a refined home accessory.
Twelve South has unveiled “Valet” – a wireless charging tray wrapped in Nappa leather than leans into design as much as functionality – at CES 2026, describing its new product as “a beautiful home object first and a sophisticated wireless charger second.”
Known for its premium tech accessories, Twelve South has designed Valet to compliment your home by blending into your nightstand, desk, and other existing furniture. The brand is banking on its latest release to help reduce the clutter in your life by offering a single, considered space to both charge your phone and store your essentials.
Valet’s main body is constructed from a weighted zinc alloy and arrives in either black or taupe, with both options offering the same supple Nappa leather on the outside. It features an interchangeable outer frame that’s easily removed, letting users can switch up its look and feel, with four total color options: two that match the main body, alongside brown or ecru. Its surface doubles as a super-fast Qi2-certified wireless charger that delivers up to 15W of power to compatible smartphones, while a hidden USB-C port underneath allows a second device – such as earbuds or a smartwatch – to also charge without adding visual clutter.
Additionally, the device features a subtle “Goodnight Glow” that briefly appears to confirm charging before fading away, minimising light in darker environments, as well as cable management built into the base that allows the tray to be positioned cleanly from multiple orientations.
Pre-orders are open now in the U.S. via the brand’s website, priced at $179.99 USD, with shipping from January 15. International availability will follow later this year.
