Anthony Edwards and adidas Basketball set the bar high with their first signature shoe. The adidas AE1 was a certified hit in both mid and low-top form. However, all good things must come to an end, and with the final chapter of the AE1 in the rearview mirror, it’s time for the duo’s sequel: introducing the adidas Anthony Edwards 2.
Teased in March, various early looks at the design led up to Edwards’ “Believe That” tour in China, which included a conversation with Hypebeast. Now, he’s officially unveiled his second signature shoe with the Three Stripes. Crafted with the contemporary cues of its predecessor, the Anthony Edwards 2 combines articulated fangs that offer lockdown with a propulsion plate for torsional support. LIGHTBOOST and Lightstrike ensure ample cushioning is present while the shoe’s journey begins with this “With Love” colorway that is covered in orange, black, and red.
