The official trailer for the first anime film of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle has been unveiled, offering a gripping glimpse into the climactic arc of Koyoharu Gotouge‘s popular series.

Officially titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle – The Return of Akaza, the trailer strongly hints at the highly anticipated showdown between the Upper Rank Three demon, Akaza, Tanjiro, and the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka. The footage also offers an intriguing peek at other yet-to-appear Upper Rank demons, teasing their upcoming battles with various members of the Demon Slayer Corps. Specific teaser footage implies key confrontations, such as Shinobu vs. Doma and Zenitsu vs. Kaigaku, all set to unfold in the upcoming film.

In addition, the trailer also announces the two new themes for the film, performed by two of the franchise’s most iconic artists. Aimer returns with “A World Where the Sun Never Rises,” while LiSA – known for her breakout hit “Gurenge” and “Homura” – delivers “Shine in the Cruel Night.”

Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with music by Go Shiina and Yuki Kajiura, the film will screen in IMAX and other premium formats, promising an immersive experience that matches the scale of its narrative. Set to premiere in theaters in Japan on July 18, the Infinity Castle – The Return of Akaza film is confirmed for an official international theatrical release on September 12, 2025.
