Official Ryder Cup Bags Blend SWAG and Heritage for 2025
Combining patent leather, intricate embroidery and nods to American icons
For the first time ever the PGA of America has teamed up with SWAG Golf to design the official 2025 Ryder Cup bag for the U.S. Team. Set to debut this September at on the Black Course at Bethpage State Park, the bag blends patriotic energy with SWAG’s signature irreverence. And at a partisan event where the home crowd is expected to be historically rowdy, it only seems right.
Founded in 2018, SWAG has built its disruptor image through a series of limited edition accessories with bold design choices, often selling out within minutes. Since then, licensing agreements with the likes of the NFL, MLB, Kraft-Heinz and WWE established its legitimacy, but in the golf space the partnership with PGA is arguably its biggest moment to date. Recognizing the significance, SWAG has spared to expense bringing the two hero items to life.
Expect premium materials like patent leather, intricate embroidery and nods to American icons from Mount Rushmore to the Liberty Bell. Details like “Liberty and Justice Fore All” and a custom Presidential Seal reading “In Keegan We Trust,” referencing U.S. Captain Keegan Bradley, bring the whole look home. Even the bottom panel nods to Bethpage’s famously ominous first tee warning.
A limited consumer collection, available in both staff and stand models, is available now for pre-sale. Personalization options are also live on SWAG’s website, with additional units hitting select DICK’S and Golf Galaxy locations on June 13.
