Kid Cudi is keeping busy with a new stream of projects and his most recent is a feature film of his own.
Earlier last weekend, Cudi took to his social media channel to share his upcoming role as a director and actor in his own feature titled When The Light Dies. He explains that it will be a horror-romance film. His post on X reads, “Ive been wanting to direct movies ever since I was a kid, and im finally stepping into this new chapter. Imgoin to make a page on IG thats dedicated to bringing u in on the journey. Ive been doing test shoots, trying diff lighting techniques and trying diff lenses, and I wanna give u guys access to my mind. Who’s joining the journey?”
In the past, Cudi has added several acting roles to his résumé. Back in the early 2010s, he appeared in shows and movies like How to Make it in America, Need for Speed, Entourage, One Tree Hill and more. Cudi also has his own production company called Mad Solar which produced projects like Entergalactic and X‘s prequel and sequel, Pearl and MaXXXine.
