The Santos de Cartier watch, an emblematic design of Cartier, continues to evolve. The brand has introduced a small model measuring 27mm in case width and 34.5 mm in height — dimensions reminiscent of the watch’s historical iterations.
This petite version of the Santos de Cartier watch embodies the pioneering spirit of Alberto Santos-Dumont, a Brazilian aviation pioneer for whom Cartier originally created the timepiece. Its square shape and visible screws became a signature aesthetic of the collection.
The small model retains the core design principles of larger Santos de Cartier watches, including pure lines, precise shapes and refined details. These elements also contrast with the industrial appearance of the visible screws. Its new features include the sunray-effect dial and a high-autonomy quartz movement that is specifically adapted to fit the new case.
Available in steel, yellow gold with steel and yellow gold, this new small model offers the same interchangeability as its larger versions with metal bracelets and calf leather strap options.
