NIGO has brought new energy to KENZO in recent years, serving as the brand’s artistic director since 2021. His newest campaign sees the fashion house team up with Converse for the first time, reworking the Chuck 70 — a personal favorite of NIGO’s — into three eye-catching designs.
Both the Chuck 70 Low and Hi play a role in the collaboration, taking on NIGO’s Hana Leopard print across the uppers of each. Colorways of “Pink Cosmos,” “Cypress,” and “Sweet Corn” present compositions of pink and white, green and black, and black, white, and yellow respectively. Each pair also features KENZO’s signature boke flower as a hangtag and outsole graphic while co-branding comes courtesy of the sockliner and special KENZO heel detail at the back of each left shoe.
Get ready for the Converse Chuck 70 Low and Hi x KENZO collection to drop next week as all three pairs will be made available via HBX, Converse and KENZO storefronts, as well as select global stockists, on April 17.
