Kendrick Lamar and SZA Unveil "luther" Visual

Surprise! There’s a new Kendrick Lamar visual for your Friday. To make matters even better, it’s the official music video for the SZA-featuring GNX cut “luther.”
Arriving just ahead of the duo’s Grand National Tour, the “luther” visual is a cinematic envisioning of the fan-favorite Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn sampling song. The Karena Evans-directed visual sees both Top Dawg Entertainment artists navigating their respective love interests, with black-and-white clips pieced together amidst a select few in-color shots.
SZA and Lamar are seen together in just one scene, a striking wide-angle shot of the duo sitting on a bench in a blue-hued hallway. Both Lamar and SZA each run through a collection of captivating outits as well, serving sleek yet elevated designer looks throughout the moody montage.
Romantic at heart, just like the song itself, the video closes out with the original version of Vandross and Lynn’s “If This World Were Mine.”
