Josh Brolin Leads the Search for the Mysteriously Disappearing Children in Official 'Weapons' Trailer
The new horror film also features Julia Garner and Alden Ehrenreich.
An eerie horror is coming to theaters this summer and Josh Brolin is slated to lead the film directed by Zach Cregger.
Weapons follows the events after the disappearance of a group of school children from one class, whose teacher is played by Julia Garner. The small Florida community seeks to search for the missing children who appear to leave in the middle of the night without a trace. Starring alongside Garner and Brolin are Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong, Austin Abrams, Amy Madigan, Cary Christopher and June Diane Raphael. Roy Lee and Miri Yun produce the film via Vertigo, while Raphael Margules and J.D. Lifshitz will produce via BoulderLight Pictures.
In the past, Cregger’s Airbnb horror film Barbarian from 2022, was a major hit, earning the top spot during its opening box office weekend. Weapons hits theaters on August 8. Watch the trailer above.
