Cecilie Bahnsen and ASICS have developed a winning formula. Since first presenting shoes together during Paris Fashion Week SS23, the two have reimagined various ASICS runners by applying Bahnsen’s whimsical touch, spreading flowers across each pair. The duo most recently dropped two takes on the GEL-TERRAIN MT and are now back with two GEL-KAYANO 20s.
Presented in colorways of “Olive” and “Vanilla/Pure Silver,” both pairs see floral graphics spread throughout the sneaker’s base while also arriving as attachments to the minimalist lacing system. Looking closer at the “Olive” iteration, it sees a metallic silver pair with a dark green whereas the “Vanilla/Pure Silver” swaps this green for an off-white while adding black detailing too. A mary jane-inspired strap that reaches above the tongue hosts Bahnsen’s name, completing each sneaker.
