Update: We’re back with another preview of this year’s Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat.” The sought-after sneaker is returning for the first time since 2020. However, it notably sports Nike Air branding at the heel instead of the Jumpman logo that was previously utilized. This all-black rendition of the Air Jordan 4 remains set to launch on November 28 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $225 USD.

Update: It’s been nearly a year since the Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” was first rumored to be returning in 2025. Now, following a first look at the pair in April, we have a set of in-hand imagery highlighting what to expect from its re-release. As noted previously, it stays true to its 2020 predecessor, save for the heel branding, which now features a Nike Air hit instead of the Jumpman logo. Release remains set for November 28 via Nike SNKRS with the adult sizes priced at $225 USD.

Update: Word of the Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” returning to the market this year was first shared in August of last year. Now, a first glance at the pair has finally been shared via the social post embedded below. While very limited in its detailing, it’s clear that Jordan Brand has stayed true to its all-black build, with the owner of the pair noting that it will now sport Nike Air branding at the heel instead of the 2020 version’s Jumpman branding. The pair’s release is now expected to take place on November 28 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $225 USD. Stay tuned for additional updates and review our initial breakdown below for more info.

Original Story: Jordan Brand has been celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 4 this year with one anticipated release after another, including the introduction of its low-top “Remix” silhouette. However, the Jumpman team has plenty more in store for the silhouette when looking past 2024. Everything from a reissue of the UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 to another Nike SB-designed colorway has been rumored to drop next year and another exciting drop has just been teased.

The sneaker insiders over at zSneakerHeadz, Sneaker Files and Sneaker Market RO have just shared a new report, indicating that the “Black Cat” colorway of the Air Jordan 4 is expected to drop again next year. It was a sought-after look back in 2006 and returned for the first time in 2020 (pictured above). While it can cost over $1,000 USD for a pair on the secondhand market now, the all-black color composition is expected to make its return at some point in the next year or so.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed that the “Black Cat” colorway of the Air Jordan 4 will be returning next year. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at the familiar pair, as we currently expect it to drop in late 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers around the $215 USD price point.
