Mizuno’s Wave Prophecy LS “Monotone Cinema” ÉDIFICE / IÉNA curated by Herringbone Footwear reinterprets the Prophecy LS silhouette in a stark grayscale palette that pays homage to 1960s French cinema.
Its upper, crafted from synthetic fibers and faux leather, is rendered in deep black ripples. This is contrasted by silver-tone overlays and minimal branding, evoking the high-contrast drama of film noir. Subtle graphic details such as pavement-inspired patterns are intergrated into the insole, offering a hidden layer of storytelling beneath the monochrome exterior.
