VANDYTHEPINK, atmos and ASICS Have a Collab Coming Soon
The trio is teaming up for the first time in celebration of atmos’ 25th anniversary.
It has been 25 years since atmos first opened its doors in Japan. The beloved brand has since collaborated with countless footwear brands, cementing itself as one of the industry’s biggest names from Japan. atmos is planning to celebrate this milestone by hosting atmoscon — a two-day sneaker convention — for the first time in three years.
Many special projects are set to debut at atmoscon, including a sneaker launch from VANDYTHEPINK, atmos and ASICS. Last year saw VANDYTHEPINK team up with Salomon for a special “Burger” colorway of the Speedcross 3, marking Vandy’s first time dropping a shoe. Now, a special footwear creation from the aforementioned trio is due to be available for pre-sale at atmoscon. While we remain without any further information regarding the shoe, Vandy did share a banana split GIF in response to the project’s initial announcement — possibly hinting at the theme of the design.
At the time of writing, neither VANDYTHEPINK, atmos nor ASICS have offered a preview of what to expect from their debut collaboration together. Stay tuned for a first look at the project and look out for it to initially drop at atmoscon on April 19 and 20 in Tokyo.
