Brain Dead and Brooks Brothers have produced a full wardrobe of prep-inspired pieces for their second collaboration, tastefully infusing the Los Angeles streetwear label’s marks onto elevated essentials. Originating in New York City, 1818, the heritage menswear purveyor’s tailored garments are updated with forward-looking designs, while honoring the brand’s historic lexicon.

The Spring Summer 2025 collection is complete with a signature two-piece suit, branded sweats sets, reworked oxford shirts, striped ringer tees, and a wool hat. Leading the line-up, is a close interpretation of Brooks Brothers’ classic suiting, featuring quietly co-branded tags and white embroidery combining the emblems of both brands on one pant leg.

The suit pairs neatly with a lineup of pinstriped Oxford shirts, one placing the Brain Dead emblem on the chest pocket and the other embroidering an antique Brooks Brothers word mark on the chest. Standing out are a duo of patchwork dress shirts, including a tonal white variant and a green pinstripe variant. Additionally, both of the reworked tops boast discreet vents for a cooling sensation in the warmer months.

For more casual styles, the collection offers a matching navy hoodie and sweat pants, both printed with bold white Brooks Brothers word marks. Striped ringer tees offered in Navy, Grey, and black evoke vintage styles from Brooks Brothers, while solid graphic tees boast an arched Brooks Brothers logo in White/Navy and White/Green. Finally, the collection is rounded out with a vintage wool hat featuring antique co-branded appliques.

Though Brain Dead may be known for its otherworldly aesthetics, its collaborations often showcase a more tame approach.  For its 10th anniversary, the brand recently reunited A.P.C., releasing a raw denim capsule also characterized by an elevated, pared-back approach. Brain Dead also collaborated with adidas Originals in 2024 with an elegant leather “Bowling Shoe,” further expanding the brand beyond its alternative reputation.

The Brain Dead x Brooks Brothers SS25 collection is set for release on March 11, 2024 via the Brain Dead website and physical store.
