Doechii Delivers on "Anxiety" Solo Version

This is not a drill. At last, Doechii has dropped the solo version of “Anxiety.”
Day 1 Doechi fans remember “Anxiety”‘s roots; the Swamp Princess initially premiered the track on one of her “Coven Music” YouTube sessions, instantly garnering an influx of views – and, since Doechii’s breakout year, it has only raked up even more. Sleepy Hallow then released a track in 2023 – also entitled “ANXIETY” – that featured part of Doechii’s coveted “Coven Music” cut. Ever since then, fans have been begging The Don to drop an official release for the solo version of the song.
Backed by a sample of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know,” “Anxiety” is a prime Doechii delivery that showcases her versatility above everything, with the rapper kicking off with a more melodic chorus that flexs her vocal range before hopping into her signature, uninterrupted flow for the sharp verses.
“Solo, no mojo / I bounce back, no pogo / Unhappy, no homo,” she kicks off the first verse with instant heat. “New brands, no logos / Money on my juggla, natural hustler / Think I need a smuggler up in Russia.”
