Owen Wilson, Ty Dolla $ign, Sexyy Red and More to Star in New 'Rolling Loud' Film
An R-rated hip-hop comedy.

While most people know Rolling Loud to be one of the biggest hip-hop festivals around the world, it is also shaping up to be the inspiration for an upcoming hip-hop comedy.
Titled Rolling Loud, the R-rated comedy is set to star Owen Wilson, Ty Dolla $ign, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask the Slump God, comedian Matt Rife, Henry Winkler and more. Named after the hip-hop festival itself, the film is slated to be inspired by a true story of an overprotective father, played by Wilson. Wilson’s character wants to be perceived as the cool and favorable dad, sneaking his 13-year-old son into the music festival which sets off a chaotic adventure with Rife’s reckless co-worker character as well as a quirky festival volunteer played by Christine Ko. Wilson and his son navigate security, wild crowds and family dynamics throughout the film which is set to be underway on production in Atlanta.
The film is written, directed and produced by American High CEO Jeremy Garelick who is known for helming Adam Sandler’s Murder Mystery 2. Ryan Kroft and Michael Rapino for Live Nation Productions, Pasquale Rotella of Insomniac and Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif of Rolling Loud are all executive producing the film. Rife and Christina Shams are also executive producers. Sexy Redd and Ski Mask the Slump God are set to perform at Rolling Loud California this March.
