Update: Officially unveiled at the end of January, Nike is back with the complete presentation of its Air Max Dn8 campaign, tapping eight different world-class innovators and eight superstar athletes to highlight the shoe and its new looks in unique ways. Gabriel Moses and Kobbie Mainoo lead with a new red pair that is available now as Ilya Chemetoff and Masai Russell also sport a red rendition that has launched. Marius Gonzalez and Yuto Horigome spotlight a green look dropping on Air Max Day — March 26 — with NEWFORMAT and Salma Paralluelo showcasing a pink version that also drops that day. The combinations of EDGLRD and Nico Williams plus Daniel Sannwald and Ja Morant highlight the April 3 launches while Elizaveta Porodina x Rayssa Leal and A New Plane x Edgar Cheung Ka-Long complete the campaign with their pairs dropping on May 8. Original Story: Nike has unveiled its latest silhouette, the Air Max Dn8, designed to elevate all-day wear through Dynamic Air technology. The sneaker introduces a first-time full-length Dynamic Air system, featuring two Air units and eight interconnected tubes that create a continuous pressurized flow from heel to forefoot. This advancement enhances the underfoot experience, delivering a bouncier, more flexible ride.

According to Jonathan Kosenick, Lead Designer for Men’s Sportswear at Nike, the goal was to create a sneaker that sits lower to the ground while maximizing the sensation of Air. “We wanted to improve transition and we did that by designing eight Air chambers directly in contact with the ground,” he explained.

The rear Air unit incorporates two pressurized chambers, each with varying pressure levels — higher pressure at the back (15 psi) and lower pressure at the front (5 psi) — allowing air to circulate dynamically with each step. The forefoot unit mirrors this setup, optimizing responsiveness and propulsion. A soft, breathable upper and premium materials complete the design, ensuring durability alongside style.

This latest silhouette from Nike is set to drop in the Hyper Pink colorway via the SNKRS app and select retailers on February 6 with a global release to follow on March 6. Nike also teased that a range of men’s, women’s and kids’ colors will also be released in the coming weeks.
