Equipped with up to 18 hours of battery life, a new 12MP Center Stage camera, 16GB of starting unified memory, and more.

On Wednesday, Apple revealed its latest MacBook Air, a high-performance upgrade of the “world’s most popular laptop” with the blazing-fast M4 chip that comes in an all-new “Sky Blue” colorway.
The powerful device is equipped with up to 18 hours of battery life, a new 12MP Center Stage camera, 16GB of starting unified memory and all the functions of macOS Sequoia with Apple Intelligence. The “Sky Blue” colorway joins the existing lineup of “Midnight,” “Starlight,” and “Silver” tones as the most adventurous of the bunch with a metallic finish.
With M4, the laptop features a 10-core CPU, an up to 10-core GPU and support for up to 32GB of unified memory. The new MacBook Air is up to two times faster than the M1 model, and when compared to the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air, the new device is up to 23 times quicker.
Additionally, with Apple Intelligence, the updated laptop allows users to create emojis with Genmoji, find more dynamic language with Writing Tools, change between spoken and text requests via Siri and simplify more day-to-day functions.
Notably, the new MacBook Air comes at a lower starting price than its predecessor, with the 13-inch version beginning at $999 USD and the 15-inch model starting at $1,199 USD. The device is now available for pre-order. Take an up-close look at Apple’s new MacBook Air in the gallery above.
