Update: The Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Bred” was one of the biggest sneaker drops from the first quarter of 2025 and there’s plenty more AJ1 launches to come as Jordan Brand celebrates the shoe’s 40th anniversary. Additional Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 releases on the way include a “Chicago” pair and this “Irregular Shadow” look that Hiroshi Fujiwara unveiled last month. While the latter sneaker isn’t arriving until this summer, the Swoosh has gone on to unveil its complete set of imagery, highlighting the black and gray build. Look out for it to arrive later this year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $200 USD.
Original Story: Jordan Brand is reviving a rare 1985 sample for summer 2025. Hiroshi Fujiwara has taken to Instagram to reveal the Air Jordan 1 High ‘85 “Irregular Shadow” colorway. It comes as no surprise that Fujiwara is the one to reveal a first look at the shoe, given that he is a longtime collaborator with the brand. The special iteration flips the typical black and grey color blocking seen on the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow.” The shoe’s asymmetrical design takes on inspirations from early Jordan Brand’s archives. The shoe sits atop a muslin, vintage-aged midsole, giving the High ‘85 an aged look for the first time. Look out for the pair arriving in the summer.
