Death is out for vengeance in the official Final Destination Bloodlines trailer. The death-defying franchise are back for its sixth film with Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky returning to direct. The latest entry in the blockbuster franchise is sure to scar the next generation.

Similar to the film’s predecessors, the sixth sequel of the franchise follows a group of people who try to outrun death. In this particular film, an ensemble appears to desperately get out of death’s grip. Thanks to a woman who managed to escape the death at some point, a group of friends and survivors of the mass disaster now face and even more grave fate. Angering death, the film, just like its title Bloodlines promises it will zero in on a single family.

The official synopsis reads, “Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.” The trailer begins with the story of a woman who escapes a disaster that is meant to kill her and many others before she starts a family. She soon learns that you can’t run away from death…always persistent. Her grandchildren realize, “Death is coming for us because we were never supposed to exist.” The film sees the late horror legend Tony Todd make his final film appearance. He plays the recurring franchise character William Bludworth and could be heard stating in the trailer, “Only by embracing death will it pass you by.” Final Destination Bloodlines also stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor and the screenplay is by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor.
