Tanner Fletcher Throws It Back to the 1930s for Fall 2025

The fun and fancifal “DANCE PARTY” range is another time capsule of a collection from the Brooklyn-based outfitter.

Tanner Ritchie and Fletcher Kasell’s Tanner Fletcher has transported us out of 2025 Manhattan once again in its newest fanciful foray of menswear, womenswear and everything in between for Fall 2025. The whimsical Brooklyn-based brand bolsters its foundational style codes and spheres of influence in another period piece of a presentation entitled “DANCE PARTY” that draws design inspiration from the 1930s and 1940s.

Instead of hosting a theatrical exhibition like last season for “The Artist’s Dilemma,” the label curated an intimate preview in their Chelsea studio to show off the dreamy new range. Guests ascended up three flights of stairs – passing an undiscerning barber shop on the way up – to the tea room, where “DANCE PARTY” rested on racks around the edges of the room and a long wooden table with donuts and pastries perfectly placed on vintage tableware.

“DANCE PARTY” is as fun in fashion as it is in the title, flaunting an impressive 48 looks of vintage-inspired garments – statement gowns and apt-for-awards-shows suiting, of course, but also more everyday styles as well, like functional outerwear and lace-frilled hoodies. Maroon suit jackets are elevated with broaches on the lapel, while dresses are lined with lace and finished off with frills and knitwear adorned with cutesy detailing and dog graphics. Polka dots are also prominent, while Tanner Fletcher specifically lifting inspiration from an old quilt to design the statement look – a padded pastel blue gown embellished with bows.
