AMBUSH Doubles Down For FW25

Fur, Fuzz, and Lace: YOON remixes her classics with a lighter feminine touch.

Titled “Homecoming,” AMBUSH’s FW25 collection is bringing it back to the basics. Founded in Tokyo, the brand was built out of a fast-paced style and spontaneous collaborations, echoing the ever-bustling nature of Shibuya’s streets.

In this collection, AMBUSH reexamines its classic pieces, like its tracksuits and reworked jerseys, with a lighter feminine touch, all while still retaining the harder outerwear-driven edge that helped define the brand’s aesthetic. Sand colored co-ords are given the décolletage treatment, featuring lace cutouts on the legs and complimented by the warm enclosure of a teddy bear shearling jacket; meanwhile, a heart-shaped bag is balanced with a metal chain and matched with heavy-metal hardware jewelry.

Keeping in line with AMBUSH’S signature relaxed but athletic silhouette, coated cotton hoodies provide a matching gleam underneath bejeweled denim outerwear, and in another look, a worn-in sweatsuit pokes out from under a fur-trimmed black trench. Cropped knits accentuate low-rise branded sweats while layering reigns supreme, paying tribute to both Tokyo’s eclectic street style and the playful act of dressing up.

Fur and fuzz stand out as primary motifs across many of the looks. Shearling, fuzzy socks, fur coats, camo fleeces, and fur boots soften many of the edgier leather-studded ensembles. The fur-topped topsiders are also not too dissimilar from the brand’s upcoming collaboration with UGG.

The FW25 “Homecoming” collection is not available yet for purchase but will be in stores later this year. You can check back here for more updates regarding the pieces. In the meantime, take a look at AMBUSH’s latest fuzzy collaboration with UGG, available February 21.
