The Breguet Expérimentale 1 marks a bold new chapter for the Maison, combining avant‑garde engineering with the brand’s centuries‑old horological heritage. Unveiled as part of Breguet’s new “Expérimentale” line, the timepiece is housed in a 43.5 mm round monobloc case made of 18k Breguet gold. The case features a sapphire crystal caseback, non‑screw crown, and water resistance up to 10 bar, underscoring its balance of elegance and durability. The dial is fitted with Breguet pomme hands, while the centerpiece complication is a tourbillon with a small seconds hand positioned on its axis, highlighting the maison’s mastery of precision and visual harmony.
At the heart of the Expérimentale 1 beats the Calibre 7250, a manual-winding movement that demonstrates Breguet’s technical prowess. The movement operates at a high frequency of 72,000 vph, designed to enhance precision and stability. It houses a tourbillon complication with a small seconds indicator located directly on the tourbillon axis. Despite its high frequency, the movement maintains a generous 72-hour power reserve. The architecture includes 37 jewels and 266 components, all measuring just 6.3 mm in thickness, and utilizes a flat silicon balance spring, underscoring the brand’s commitment to using advanced materials to improve chronometry.
This exquisite time-teller is paired with a rubber strap secured by a Breguet gold pin buckle, merging luxury materials with sporty durability. As a limited-edition release, the Expérimentale 1 is available on request via Breguet’s online and offline boutiques.
