Update: It’s been well over half a year since first the rumored Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro “Perspective” was first discussed. Now, an early preview has been shared ahead of its expected launch next month. As noted originally, this pair remixes the 2014 high-top into a low-top, with its “Neo Turquoise” and “Volt” composition present once again. While Nike has yet to share official release details and images, you can expect the sneaker to drop on December 3 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $220 USD.

Original Story: Nike Basketball brought back the Nike Kobe 9 Elite in Protro form last August and new colorways of the silhouette’s low and high-top forms have constantly been making headlines since as many new and returning looks are due to hit shelves this year. The “Masterpiece” pair most recently returned to shelves earlier this month and upcoming drops range from the return of the “Moonwalker” colorway to a set of five low-top “Team Bank” iterations.
Adding to the list of Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro releases to anticipate, zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files have reported that 2014’s “Perspective” pair will be returning with a new twist. Rather than dropping again as a high-top, it is said to have been converted into low-top form.
At the time of writing, Nike Basketball has not announced that a new “Perspective” colorway of the Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro will be dropping this year.
