Summary:

  • Haider Ackermann has unveiled the third collection of ‘Snow Goose’ by Canada Goose for Fall/Winter 2025.
  • The collection celebrates life that persists beneath the cold, featuring surprising colors like “Mint Green,” “Ice Lavender,” and “Marine Earth Blue.”
  • In addition to the collection launch, Ackermann is hosting an expedition in Churchill, Manitoba, as part of the brand’s ongoing partnership with Polar Bears International (PBI).

As well as leading the creative direction of Tom Ford, Haider Ackermann has also been serving as the first-ever creative director for Canada Goose since 2024. As part of this appointment, the Colombian-born French designer began creating winter capsule collections under the “Snow Goose” label, and today marks the reveal of the third iteration of ‘Snow Goose’ by Canada Goose.

The Fall/Winter 2025 Snow Goose collection challenges the idea that typical spring tones should only be reserved for the warmer months. Instead, Ackermann has intentionally chosen to mix a palette of fluorescent “Mint Green,” “Ice Lavender,” and “Marine Earth Blue” with more grounding “Browns” and “Blacks.” Speaking on the color choice, the designer states, “Winter is often imagined as a season of silence, as quiet or still. But I wanted this collection to breathe, to move with the rhythm of life that persists beneath the cold and capture the pulse of life in the cold.”

This sense of aliveness is also clearly reflected in the campaign assets that were shot by Tim Elkaïm. Willie Nelson, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Tasha Tilberg, Stevie Sims, Xiaowen Ju, and Connor Newall star in the crisp hero images – appearing to almost have been awakened with a gust of wind, clutching the outerwear and headwear blowing against a bright white backdrop – a direction chosen to embody a sense of “resilience and quiet optimism,” according to the press release.

The narrative of optimism is further manifested in the physical pieces.  Standouts including the heavy-duty sculptural Thalix Parka, a lightweight Shift Anorak, and the Weld Jacket. Additionally, the Merge Jacket and Pant set offers a fully reflective look, and the Rigel Heavyweight Hoodie proudly presents the collection’s core message, “The Earth Needs All the Friends It Can Get,” through a statement graphic.

True to this enduring commitment to helping the natural world, Ackermann is also hosting a four-day expedition in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada, with a select group to witness the annual November gathering of polar bears along the Hudson Bay. The trip serves as a literal love letter to the land that defines Canada Goose, as well as a continuation of the brand’s ongoing partnership with Polar Bears International (PBI), who help protect polar bears and their Arctic habitat.

The Fall/Winter 2025 ‘Snow Goose’ by Canada Goose capsule will launch globally with early online access from November 13–17 on the Canada Goose website and in select stores from November 18. More product will also drop throughout winter.
