Czapek Celebrates Its Tenth Year With the Limited-Edition Jumper Watch
Available in stainless steel or 18k gold.
Summary
- Czapek celebrates its 10th anniversary with the Time Jumper limited edition
- Available in two case builds, the watch features a half‑hunter cover and is powered by the in-house Calibre 10.1
To mark a decade since its revival, Czapek & Cie has unveiled the Time Jumper Anniversary Limited Edition, a watch that reimagines François Czapek’s 19th‑century pocket watches in a futuristic style.
Offered in stainless steel or 18k gold, the watch boasts a case diameter of 40.5mm and features a half‑hunter cover decorated with a three‑dimensional guilloché pattern that creates the illusion of a black hole. Beneath the loupe at the center lies the patent‑pending jumping hour display, which displays 24 hours across two sapphire discs, complemented by trailing minutes on a peripheral ring. This avant‑garde design reflects Czapek’s philosophy of blending tradition with innovation, echoing earlier collaborations such as the Antarctique Tourbillon with its vortex‑like guilloché as well as reflecting the brand’s “head in the sky, feet on the ground” philosophy.
Beating as the heart of the timepiece is the Calibre 10.1, a compact, self-winding mechanical movement viewable through the watch’s caseback, offering 60 hours of power reserve at a frequency of 28,800 vph. The stainless steel version is priced at 42,000 CHF (approx. $52,523 USD), while the gold version will retail for 64,000 CHF (approx. $80,035 USD). The Time Jumper will be available for order through Czapek’s website and Geneva boutique, as well as select authorized dealers worldwide.
