Summary

  • The collection is a three-way collaboration between Dragon Ball DAIMA, JOURNAL STANDARD, and Champion

  • The apparel features dynamic graphics of Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku on Champion’s durable Reverse Weave® fabric

  • The drop includes sweatshirts and hoodies, celebrating the new anime saga, and releases in mid-December 2025

A legendary three-way collaboration is set to dominate the holiday season. JOURNAL STANDARD has teamed up with Champion and the iconic anime franchise Dragon Ball DAIMA to release a special capsule of sweatshirts and hoodies, fusing Japanese pop culture with authentic American athletic heritage.

The collection serves as a wearable celebration of Akira Toriyama’s new saga. The apparel prominently features Dragon Ball DAIMA’s dynamic signature graphics, including powerful depictions of Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku and the series’ new characters. This highly detailed artwork allows fans to wear a piece of the long-awaited animated series, making the release an instant collector’s item. The first season of the series arrived last year and features 20 episodes that follow Goku and his friends as they explore the Demon Realm with Glorio, Panzy and Supreme Kai.

Quality and durability are guaranteed by the foundation of the collection: Champion’s classic Reverse Weave® fabric. Each piece is constructed from a thick 11.5oz terry fleece and 100% American cotton, ensuring the hoodies and sweatshirts are robust enough to withstand the most intense battles—or everyday wear. With sweatshirts retailing for approximately $117 USD and hoodies for $125 USD, this unique fusion of anime and street fashion will be available in mid-December 2025.
