Palace Skateboards and Avirex have reunited for a second co-branded collection, this time trading outerwear for a head-to-toe sportswear offering. Where the opening chapter centered on a single statement jacket, the new capsule spreads across a tracksuit, a run of jersey pieces and a pair of accessories, with scaled-up logo work tying the whole thing together.
The tracksuit leads the range, joined by jersey options that cover a hooded sweatshirt plus long and short sleeve tees. Accessories round things out with a no-cuff beanie and a cap, giving the capsule a full top-to-bottom spread rather than a single hero piece.
Branding does the heavy lifting throughout. Rather than keeping logos to a chest hit, both labels have blown up their marks and scattered them across several placements on each garment, a treatment that carries consistently from the tracksuit through to the headwear.
That approach reads as a deliberate counterpoint to drop one. The first release hinged on Avirex’s A-2 leather flying jacket, cut from rich pebbled leather in the boxed-out shape that defined the outfitter’s 2000s output. Where that piece earned its weight through material, this second wave leans on cut and graphic scale instead, translating the same boxy proportions into knit and jersey fabrications.
The Avirex x Palace Skateboards capsule launches Friday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m. BST across the UK, Europe and the US, followed by Saturday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m. local time in Japan, China, Korea and Australia.
