British designer Maximilian Raynor is known for his innovative approach to design, having dressed international stars from Chappell Roan to Lady Gaga. For his latest creation, Raynor has sourced used materials from the world’s largest data center company for a viral-worthy dress.
Maximilian Raynor has worked with Equinix to repurpose recycled wires and metals taken from the company’s data centers. Digital networks emerge within the new luxury garment, rethinking unconventionality with a sustainable approach. Equinix’s data networks connect seamlessly with Raynor’s out-of-the-box style, converting 3,600-meters of cable into a fashion masterpiece.
The cables are woven together to create a fringed yellow gown accessorized with metal accents and a swirling headpiece. The back emulates a human spine with linear decor, bridging the gap between physical and digital realms.
