Palace has officially lifted the veil on the lookbook for the first drop from its Spring 2025 collection. A tapestry of adaptable looks and athletic aesthetics, the new in-line presentation from the overseas imprint revels in a range of sporting style codes, delivering a lineup of motorsport and golf-inspired garments and placing those up against color-blocked tracksuits and highly functional GORE-TEX running gear.
Jacketing is expansive, spanning a selection of structures and silhouettes, with standouts including a varsity jacket embroidered with an intricate tiger mural on the backside, a bonded Arctic hooded jacket complete with a detachable faux fur hood, a bespoke floral running jacket and a light blue quilted moto-style jacket. Motocross is also referenced in a handful of racing jerseys – one of which features an image of a Japanese drift car – while golf garments include a vibrant yellow zip-top and various paneled hats. Tracksuits turn up in a lineup of different colorways and take to a vintage look defined by all-over piped detailing.
Camouflage also holds strong, covering a plethora of pieces including work jackets, cargo pants, jeans and headwear; in a similar vein, workwear influences remain minimal but still moving nonetheless, landing in the form of a selvage denim set and patched jeans.
A slew of the collection’s garments also come guarded with a GORE-TEX exterior, such as the layered GORE-TEX jacket and GORE-TEX bucket hat. A Polartec jacket is elevated with contrast stitching and Kway gets in on the fun for a collaborative, color-blocked windbreaker.
Animal imagery is prominent throughout the range, surfacing in both subtle and statement-making capacities. A potential tribute to the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake, the imprint imbues cobra graphics to a handful of the collection’s pieces, appearing in the form of an embroidered appliqué on the back of the Real Tree workwear canvas jacket and on a paneled graphic tee.
Another standout graphic? The “yappy dog” one, which is exactly as it sounds.
