L’Epée 1839 Unveils Mechanical Watch Box for LVMH Watch Week
Designed to be a “VIP lounge for your wristwatch.”
Renowned Swiss manufacturer L’Epée 1839 has introduced a new Mechanical Watch Box at LVMH Watch Week, reimagining the way luxury timepieces are displayed. Dubbed the “VIP lounge for your wristwatch,” this innovative creation blends mechanical mastery with aesthetic elegance to elevate any watch into a masterpiece of presentation.
Encased in a transparent housing, the Watch Box serves as a stage for both the timepiece and the intricate craftsmanship of L’Epée 1839’s in-house engineering. With a simple press of a button, the box comes alive: its lift system gently opens the casing and raises the watch, creating a captivating display. Closing the cover automatically rewinds the mechanism, eliminating the need for manual winding and ensuring seamless operation.
The Watch Box, made from inox, acrylic glass and microfiber, is meticulously hand-finished with polished, satin and lacquered touches. Its visible gears and levers mirror the complexity of high-end mechanical watches, transforming the case itself into a work of art. Weighing 3.4 kg and measuring 215 mm in length, 150 mm in width and 140 mm in height, this functional sculpture embodies the expertise L’Epée 1839 has honed for over 180 years.
