UNC Reveals New Air Jordan 4 PE for 2025
Featuring an all-blue build that is accented by golden hardware.
Of all the Jordan Brand-sponsored universities, it’s no secret that the University of North Carolina receives special treatment given that it is Michael Jordan’s alma mater. As a result, the school has not only been the subject of countless white and blue Air Jordan colorways, but it boasts an unrivaled collection of player exclusives (PEs) too. With the 2024-25 basketball season ongoing for the Tar Heels, the school has just presented its latest pair.
In continuation of its Jordan Brand partnership, the school’s classic “University Blue” again adorns the Air Jordan 4. Its leather upper utilizes various soft blue hues throughout its intricate structure. From there, a rich metallic gold enlivens various hardware bits — these range from a UNC-branded dubrae to the Jumpman logos situated at both the tongue and heel tab. What sets these Jumpman logos apart from traditional ones is that the basketball in Jordan’s hand is represented by a crystal. This detail is also present on the special hangtag that rounds out this release with Jumpman branding on one side and UNC’s logo on the other.
Unfortunately for those looking to pick up a pair for themselves, this Air Jordan 4 “UNC” PE is not expected to ever make an appearance on retail shelves.
