Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a new global campaign starring Hollywood actor and director Bradley Cooper, promoting the electric G-Class, the G 580 with EQ Technology. Titled “The Rise of Electric,” the campaign spotlights the brand’s first fully electric version of its iconic off-roader.

The centerpiece of the campaign is a short film featuring Cooper, a longtime G-Class enthusiast. Conceptually, the film aims to capture the essence of the G-Class through a dramatic action sequence, highlighting the vehicle’s versatility in both off-road and urban settings. The campaign underscores the G-Class’s ability to empower drivers to conquer any terrain and pursue their own path.

“For me, it’s always been more than a car: it’s been a companion on every adventure,” Cooper said at the premiere in Los Angeles, marking the vehicle’s global debut earlier this year.

The electric G 580 combines Mercedes-Benz’s tradition with innovative technology, boasting four individually controlled electric motors. The campaign’s soundtrack is a reimagined version of the classic hit “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” further emphasizing the vehicle’s indomitable spirit.
