Irish designer Simone Rocha is here to play, returning to the third day of London Fashion Week with a borderless runway that blooms with carnation flowers. Simone Rocha constantly plays with traditional gender norms, mixing masculine and feminine styles with a darkened aesthetic. After completing her three-part Victorian runway series in February, the designer enters a new stage for Spring/Summer 2025.

From rhinestone-encrusted Crocs to dainty ballerina dresses and incomplete silhouettes, Simone Rocha explores the concept of perfection by looking inwards. The designer lifts the curtain on her production process, dividing the collection into several parts, including sweet-smelling florals, “Fear, Fun, Control,” and a battle between sexes.

First, Simone Rocha presented a plethora of looks before completion, seeing with half-dressed models rushing down the runway in embellished coats. Tulle-trimmed bodysuits receive oversized sleeve covers on one side, while sheer lingerie buds at the knees with ruffled skirt attachments. Cutout zip-ups reveal silk bralettes and delicate waistlines paired with miniature ballerina skirts and sequined thick-cut socks. Shimmering hot pants and v-neck jumpers strut for men, followed by chained tops and flower-painted anoraks in delicate pink blush.

In the second part, pink carnations take on three-dimensional forms on translucent cover-ups, filling chest compartments on shielded gowns with cascading petals. Models walked the runway holding floral bouquets with pre-attached wrist straps, seeing Simone Rocha dominate denim with contrast-stitched uniforms, embellished ’90s bottoms, and more. The UK designer presented her third collaboration with Crocs on the runway, revealing platformed sandals, furry ballerina flats, and embellished slip-ons in black, cream, and muted pink tones.
