Following the Summer Olympics, Minnesota Timberwolves‘ star Anthony Edwards is keeping busy. Raising the bar for the upcoming season’s footwear releases, the NBA star and adidas are dropping an array of new colorways for his signature shoe. The AE1 Low is now set to arrive in a monochromatic “Christmas” edition. As a nod to Minnesota’s icy winters, the shoe is revealed to take on a cool blue tone throughout. The mesh upper is hit with the icy blue tone first as it trickles down do the flecked rubber outsoles, which hint at the snow-covered terrain the colder months bring during winter. Cool blue dominates the shoe, highlighting both the winter elements and his Minnesota team. Black accents hit the tongue and heel to round out the design.
