Vacheron Constantin Presents Two New Models at Watches & Wonders Shanghai
Featuring the Fiftysix Self-Winding and two Year of the Snake timepieces.
At Watches & Wonders Shanghai, Vacheron Constantin has revealed its latest addition to the Fiftysix collection, alongside its Year of the Snake timepieces for the coming Lunar New Year.
Fiftysix Self-Winding
Clad in a 40mm pink gold case, the Fiftysix Self-Winding is presented in the mode’s classic aesthetics, boasting a sophisticated design language that is part contemporary, part retro. Doused in a deep black, the dial showcases an opaline center and sunburst exterior that elegantly contrasts its warmly-hued hour markings, handset and case. As indicated in its name, the watch runs on an in-house self-winding movement, geared with around 30 hours of power reserve. An anthracite-colored, nubuck calfskin leather strap completes the timepiece.
Métiers d’Art The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac – Year of the Snake
Available in 18k pink gold and 950 platinum builds, Vacheron Constantin’s Year of the Snake features a dial that depicts a cobra on a bed of rock in a Grand Feu enameling. Limited to 25 examples each, the dials are hand-engraved and hand-enameled by artisans, serving as a testament to the Maison’s dedication to craftsmanship. 18k 4n gold is used for the embellishments on the pink gold version, while 18k white gold is used for the platinum variant. The watch’s beating heart is the 2460 G4 Manufacture caliber, which provides 40 hours of continuous running time with an astounding frequency of 28,800 hourly vibrations.
