Alleged PlayStation 5 Pro Leaks Reveal New Console Design
The device is reportedly called the PlayStation 5 Pro.
The PlayStation 5 was launched nearly four years ago. As fans await its successor, new details have emerged regarding the future console.
In an article on Dealabs, leaker billbil-kun wrote that the name for the forthcoming console is the PlayStation 5 Pro, IGN reported first. While the leaker dispelled rumors about a possible PlayStation Showcase event – rather than the typical Sony State of Play event – he reported that the launch is slated for the end of 2024.
A packaging box reportedly designed for the console was also viewed by billbil-kun, he wrote in his article.

The actual photo couldn’t be shared due to copyright reasons but the design was recreated in a sketch, showing a design similar to the PlayStation 5 Slim: a thin, white console with two USB ports and a front power button. This sketch also showed three black stripes on the outer shell of the console.
Sony is expected to announce the PlayStation 5 Pro sometime in September, according to billbil-kun.
