Nike Launches "Halo" Apparel Collection in Honor of Kobe Bryant
The four-piece collection arrives on Kobe’s birthday.
Kobe Bryant continues to have one of the most extensive and sought-after catalogs in the history of Nike Basketball. Arguably one of the most influential figures in the athletic world, Nike repeatedly honors his memory with unique drops for his signature sneakers. In recent years, the “Halo” colorway has been a synonymous hue to the Kobe collections, arriving on the Kobe 8 Protro as well as the Kobe 9s.
The angelic colorscheme is now making its way to a four-piece apparel collection that is slated to drop on Bryant’s birthday. In anticipation of the shoe releases, Nike is giving a teaser to what’s to come with an apparel line that keeps Bryant’s Mamba performance mindset at the forefront. Transitional from on-the-court to lifestyle leisurewear, the collection features an all-white Dri-Fit hoodie with silver accents that detail the Black Mamba logo on the front. Similarly, the full-zip collared sweater arrives in the same colorway, with the triangular logo on the chest. The collection also features a pair of basketball shorts and jersey in an all-over gersilver snakeprint. Each are reversible with the other side in pure white.
Look out for the collection releasing on Nike on August 23.
