Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty Hop on Mike WiLL Made-It's "high3r"
The first collaboration between Boat and Weezy.
Mike WiLL Made-It is hitting new heights to prepare for his first studio album release in almost a decade – since Ransom 2‘s drop in 2017. The first single lifted from his imminent LP Reset is aptly entitled “high3r” and, in classic Made-It form, sees him tap into his star-studded circle of collaborators for help, equipped with contributions from Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty.
The producer builds a masterfully crisp melody to serve as the baseline for the first-ever collaboration between Wayne and Yachty.
Boat handles the chorus and first verse with his smooth delivery and effortlessly fluid flow, while Wayne delivers an impressive second verse, holding onto one rhyme scheme for the majority of it.
“I’m in my zone, I’m wired / I wanna take you higher / I wanna date Shania / I wanna date Zendaya / I hit the club like Tiger / H*es takin’ shots like Pfizer / H*es passin’ out like flyers,” he kicks it off, continuing later with “I kick them hoes out, I be like ‘Hi-yah’ / If she explode, then I’ma ignite her / She suck my soul out like a vampire.”
