KidSuper’s Kissing Bag Gets the Chrome Treatment
The designer revealed he also trademarked the bag’s name.
After teaming up with Cirque du Soleil for his theatrical Spring/Summer 2025 runway at Paris Fashion Week, a collection dubbed “It’s All Up In The Air,” KidSuper has returned with a new iteration of his cult Kissing Bag. For the latest rendition, the designer has created a shiny chrome Kissing Bag with a texturized circle pattern finish.
Previous Kissing Bags have launched with a leather carrying handle and detachable strap. To match the new chrome look, KidSuper swapped out those handles for chain link straps, noting that the chains aren’t in a fixed position and are naturally flexible.
The lip-locked purse was initially launched in 2022 and has become a flagship piece in the designer’s line. Last year, he unveiled four new colorways of the bag, along with miniature versions.
Announcing the chrome bag, KidSuper also revealed that it’s the first of its kind to bear the “™️” symbol after he recently trademarked the Kissing Bag name.
