The House of Givenchy has announced the opening of its first permanent Los Angeles store in the iconic Frank Lloyd Wright-designed building at 332 North Rodeo Drive. This 8,000-square-foot structure marks Givenchy’s West Coast flagship, with the initial 4,500-square-foot retail space opening in August and the remainder unveiling in early 2025.

The store’s design preserves the building’s historic character while infusing Givenchy’s signature style. Original features, including diamond-scored concrete ceilings, red floors and two fireplaces, have been meticulously restored. The space blends sharp industrial elements with soft natural materials, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. An archival tiger print fabric, once used by Hubert de Givenchy in his home, adds vibrant pops of color to upholstery and stairwells.

Separate entrances lead to distinct spaces for men’s and women’s collections, honoring the building’s original multi-store concept. The full array of Givenchy ready-to-wear and accessories will be available, including exclusive pieces designed for the LA flagship. Highlights include the Voyou handbag, Antigona Cube and Shark Lock boots, alongside a special preview of the Fall/Winter 2024 runway collection.

Valerie Leon, President of the Americas at Givenchy, emphasized the significance of this location: “Given Hubert de Givenchy’s love of art and architecture, the Frank Lloyd Wright building felt like the right choice, and the opportunity to bring Givenchy to life there was inspiring.”
