Top Dawg Entertainment is pulling out all the stops for its 20th anniversary, with this year already seeing albums from ScHoolboy Q, Zacari and Devin Malik. Doechii hasn’t been quiet this year either, dropping off a bevy of singles and “Swamp Session” freestyles in recent months. Today, the Swamp Princess announced she’s got a longer-form project in store for us and it’s dropping sooner rather than later.

Dubbed Alligator Bites Never Heal, Doechii announced the mixtape on her birthday, and the project is set to surface on the last Friday of August.

While a tracklist has yet to be confirmed, both Top Dawg and Doechii shared the EP’s cover art, which features the Swamp Princess seated stoically with a white alligator in her lap.

Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more updates on Alligator Bites Never Heal as they surface, and keep an eye out for the mixtape – out everywhere on Friday, August 30.
