Big Sean Delivers 'Better Me Than You,' His First Album in Four Years
Featuring Thundercat, Syd, Gunna, The Alchemist and more.
Big Sean is back with full force with Better Me Than You, his first solo full-length record in four years.
Clocking in at just over an hour, the 21-track record features an exciting mix of guest features including Charlie Wilson on “Break the Cycle,” Gunna on “It Is What It Is,” Eryn Allen Kane on “Apologize” and “Black Void” with Thundercat, Syd on “Something,” Bryson Tiller on “This n That,” Teyana Taylor, Larry June and DJ Premier on “Million Pieces,” Cash Cobain on “Get You Back,” Nasaan on “Certified,” Ellie Goulding on “My Life” and the Alchemist on “Together Forever.”
During an Instagram Live session earlier this week, Sean Don confirmed the release date of Better Me Than You and shared some heartfelt words about the album. “I appreciate my mom for being that guardian angel always giving me that advice. She really talked me through it for real,” he shared. “Like I said, I haven’t been sleeping a lot. I’ve been giving this sh*t my all. I’m burned the f*ck out. I’m tired. I do do this sh*t for the people that f*ck with me.”
