It may only be early August, but Halloween will be here before we even know it. Per usual, Nike is expected to celebrate spooky season with special thematic releases of popular silhouettes, which looks to include a “Halloween”-themed Air Jordan 1 Low this year.

Teased in an all-black “Black Cat” look, a theme often used by Jordan Brand, the pair is loaded with thematic detailing throughout. While our initial preview of the design is limited to the two Instagram posts that are embedded below, there are several key elements worth noting. Distressed laces and a spider web pattern at the toe box serve Halloween vibes while the tongue’s glow-in-the-dark eyes, which glow after a button is pressed, serve as the focal point. Blue and purple flame detailing adorns the upper and glows, matching the glow of the clear outsole.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not shared any details regarding its “Halloween” collection for 2024, which is expected to include this “Black Cat” rendition of the Air Jordan 1 Low. Stay tuned for updates, including a closer look at the pair, as we currently expect it to release this October via Nike SNKRS and select retailers around the $125 USD price point.
